Welcome to flojtfolk.se, also the homepage of me, Torbjörn Lindberg and my music. The music you will find here is contemporary Swedish folk music. I do not play the fiddle, I play the recorder and guitar, but I have set most tunes in keys which will work well on fiddle too. I have written many Waltzes, Schottisches, Polishes and other scandinavian types of tunes over the past couple of years, and the idea is to make as much of it as possible available on this website. But it takes time to record and transcribe so it will appear here bit by bit.

Everything on this website, sheet music and recordings, is available for listening, viewing and downloading. But is not to be considered free. Everything is copyright protected and all rights are reserved so if you find it interesting, useful or nice to listen to, please consider a small donation or buy some of my products. I would rather see you forwarding your friends to this site then copying recordings and sheet music to them personally.

The copyright protection should result in that the music here is exclusive to this site. Enjoy!

About flojtfolk

flojtfolk is my company. It publishes sheet music, recordings and partisipates in different types of conserts. I also have an audio studio with possibility to record smaller ensembles and I provide easy to maintain web solutions for people that do not know what HTML is.

The enviroment

All paperproducts are printed on enviromentally friendly, high quality swedish paper using print cartridges that are recycled. All coffee consumed within the company is certified organic and fair trade.

I use

Huber wooden recorders, Yamaha plastic recorders, Alhambra steel string guitar, half acustic nylon string guitar, Fishman guitarr pickups, AER amplifier, Levin mandolins, Mackie mixer, E-MU 1820m sound card, Sure-, AKG- and TSM-microphones, HP printer, 4CC paper and I put together my own silent computers for working with audio.

Partners

- Make Believe Studios, is who I turn to for color prints, photo and questions about layout.

- Blue Goat Music, engages me as a bass every now and then.

- Robert Boström, plays the bass and piano. We have an ensemble together that play some of my tunes with Sara, Tuva och Kerstin. It is called; Robert Rakar Krusbär. In english it would be; Robert Shaves Gooseberrys. Some of my music is also availble on his homepage.

- Tuva Andersson, my girlfriend with whom I live. She checks my notes for errors and knows many of my tunes.

- Karin Hjelm, accordion player and my mother in law. She, I and Tuva has a trio playing mostly my and her tunes.

- Maj Persson, illustrator and friend. We are both fascinated by pingvins and play the recorder. Play together whenever we get a chance.
